The protagonist of the story has died, but that is just the beginning of the story! The death of the hero of the novel is usually at the end of the story,
but that is not the case with Jesus Christ.
At the moment when Jesus Christ died, His few remaining followers also fled from Him, and it seemed to be the end of a sad story.
However, only three days later, those same scared apostles who hid when He was arrested, were ready rather to be killed as well as Christ,
but they told everyone without fear that Jesus had risen from the grave, which is a guarantee of the salvation and resurrection of all believers.
If these people only said they believed, and if they were scared as soon as someone threatened them, we would know their story is not credible.
On the contrary, they were ready to die, but they did not renounce the claim that they saw Jesus Christ alive after His resurrection.
As a result of the apostles saying without fear of death that Jesus had risen, and because of the evidence of Christ's resurrection which they presented to the world, over 2 billion people in the world today believe that Jesus was indeed resurrected.
We know today where all the leaders of the world's religions were buried, and no one claims that they are still alive today, nor if there is any evidence for that.
No matter how many supporters they have, their lives ended in a grave.
Even if they talked about life after death, they did not practically prove to their followers that what they were talking about was true.
Only the tomb of Christ is empty today. Only Christianity has a leader
who demonstrated before skeptics and enemies the power to revive the dead,
who practically showed everyone that faith in the God who gives eternal life has a rational basis.
When you find yourself next to the dead body of someone you loved, then you realize how important it is whether resurrection is possible or not.
If there is anyone who can solve the problem of death which makes our existence meaningless, such a thing could bring revolution to our lives.
Let us, therefore, look at the arguments that Christianity has as support of Christ's resurrection.
Even the apostle Paul says that if Christ remained lying in the grave, if he never rose from the grave, then: "Your faith is also vain!" 1. Corinthians 15:14
So, if Jesus was indeed resurrected, then it is a confirmation of God's promise to resurrect those who believe in Him on the day of God's judgment;
and if Jesus was not resurrected, then Christianity is the same as all other religions.

Denial of the resurrection—the wrong grave?
The first criticism of Christ's resurrection is the opinion that Christ never came out of the grave alive. Some claim that the body of Christ remained in the tomb,
and that the disciples went to the wrong grave. His disciples were allegedly so confused,
so much under stress and psychological pressure, that they did not run to the right grave at all, but to some wrong grave.
They saw the wrong tomb was empty and thought that Christ had risen.
There are several facts to show it was impossible for the disciples to make a mistake finding the grave.
The owner of the tomb in which Jesus was placed was Joseph of Arimathea, who participated in Jesus' burial (Matthew 27: 57-60).
Joseph certainly would not have missed the place where Jesus was buried, He would have corrected the apostles.
On the other hand, if the apostles went to a wrong grave, the main opponents of Jesus Christ, the Pharisees,
would certainly not miss the opportunity to show that the body of Christ is still in the real tomb under the Roman guard, and they did not even try to dispute the body is not in the grave anymore.
The body of Christ did not disappear silently, so that no one knew.
On the contrary, the Pharisees bribed the guards to lie that they were asleep while the apostles allegedly stole the body (Matthew 28:11-15).
Thus, both the Romans and the Jewish religious leaders claimed that the body of Christ was no longer in the tomb.
It is logical to ask where the body of Christ really is, if even His enemies with armed soldiers could not prevent the body from disappearing from the grave.

The Jews did not deny the empty tomb and the disappearance of the body of Christ
The religious leaders who did not accept Jesus as the Messiah never denied that the body of Christ had disappeared from the grave.
“…Some of the guard came into the city and reported to the chief priests all the things that had happened.”
When they had assembled with the elders and consulted together, they gave a large sum of money to the soldiers, saying,
“Tell them, ‘His disciples came at night and stole Him away while we slept.’ And if this comes to the governor’s ears, we will appease him and make you secure.”
So they took the money and did as they were instructed; and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day." (Matthew 28:11-15).
The members of the Sanhedrin bribed the soldiers to lie they had been carelessly guarding the tomb,
and allowed a very unlikely scenario in which a handful of unarmed apostles
stole the body of Christ while none of the many guards were awake.
Would any reasonable person sleep as a guard in an occupied territory, amid the danger of being killed?
Just a few days earlier, Barabbas had been arrested and sentenced to death because he “had committed murder in the rebellion.” Mark 15:7
No reasonable soldier would allow himself to sleep on guard while there were riots and killings in those days,
let alone that of so many soldiers, everyone falls asleep and does not hear anyone passing them by, removes a huge stone, opens the grave and takes the body by jumping over the sleeping soldiers.

Did the apostles steal the body?
Other critics claim the same thing the Pharisees told the soldiers, that His disciples came at night while the guards slept and stole the body, only to later claim that Jesus had risen from the grave.
We see from the text that the Pharisees asked the Roman prefect (governor) Pilate to set up a guard around the tomb,
for they knew that Jesus had prophesied He would rise after three days.
They personally saw how He resurrected Lazarus four days after he died, so they were afraid Jesus would really resurrect as he said.
To prevent the fulfillment of Jesus' prophecy, they sent an armed guard led by a centurion.
The word centurion means an officer who commanded over 100 soldiers.
Since this was a significant event that alarmed a large number of people, as a response, Pilate sent a large number of guards.
In any case, there were enough of them that they could split up, so some of them could sleep during the shift, while the rest could stay awake.
Jewish leaders did everything they could to eliminate the possibility of someone stealing the body of Christ.
Armed Roman guards who conquered all of Judea would easily deal with unarmed apostles who believed they should love their neighbor as themselves.
Not only did the numerous guards secure the tomb, but the tomb itself was sealed and closed with a large stone (Matthew 27:62-66).

Who removed the huge stone from Jesus' tomb?
Jesus was not buried in the ground, but was placed in a stone cave, and a huge stone was placed at the entrance, which required several people to move.
65 So, not only did it require many armed guards to be passed, but a huge stone had to be moved silently so guards could not notice what is going on.
It is written in the Gospels that only women came to the tomb, and they could not remove the stone. The guards did not want to remove the stone, and the women could not.
The apostles were not there, nor would the armed soldiers allow them to remove the stone.
So, who removed the stone?
"Suddenly there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven,
rolled away the stone, and sat on it.
His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow.
The guards trembled in fear of him and became like dead men" (Matthew 28:2-4).
Neither the Roman guards nor the imperial seal could keep Christ in the tomb, because a force much stronger than theirs decided to free him from the tomb.
According to the Bible, God sent an angel to remove the stone from the tomb, the soldiers fell to the ground from the appearance of the angels, and Jesus came out of the tomb alive.

Semi-conscious or dead?
Some believe Christ did not even die on the cross, but was in a semi-conscious state,
and that later, when they put Him in the grave, He simply came back to life. His disciples allegedly declared it a resurrection.
It should not be forgotten that a Roman soldier pierced Jesus' chest with a spear, and that blood and water came out (John 19:34).
For the blood to abundantly flow as described, the spear had to hit the heart or some large blood vessel, which would surely lead to death.
In addition, Jesus had died even before that, and the Roman soldier just wanted to use a spear to ensure that the death penalty was carried out.

Christ's Enemies Were the First to Announce Christ's Resurrection
In a fabricated story, it would be expected that the apostles or someone else with a conflict of interest would be the first to tell how Jesus was resurrected, but this did not happen that way.
Instead, the first to talk about Jesus being resurrected were those who had a strong interest in Jesus NOT  resurrecting!
The first direct witnesses of Christ's resurrection were Christ's enemies, those who did not believe in Christ's teachings, and even participated in the condemnation of Jesus to death.
While the apostles hid in fear because they could be killed like Jesus, the first to say that Jesus was resurrected were the Roman soldiers who guarded the tomb, and who were there to prevent the body from being stolen from the tomb.
Jesus was not resurrected in a secret place without a witness, because that would raise reasonable suspicion. He was resurrected in the capital city, and this was reported by the people who did not believe He is the Messiah.
The soldiers who guarded the tomb left their guard post, because the One they were guarding was not there anymore.
They entered the city and reported what had happened.
Out of all the Roman soldiers, the apostles noted that only one Roman captain believed Jesus is the Messiah, even before His resurrection.
When someone does not want to trust in God, as soldiers who witnessed the resurrection, or the religious leaders to whom the soldiers told what they saw, they did not change their attitude towards Christ, regardless of the evidence they saw.
This shows that a man who sees a miracle will not change his attitude about God.
Personal interests, position, authority, and religious tradition are of more value than the obvious evidence.
Whoever believed in Christ at that time, lost his status in society and was the object of ridicule. The majority did not want to sacrifice their comfort for the sake of God.
God never tried to give people absolute proof for the truth. God does not want to force anyone to believe the truth by revealing absolute facts, if they would hypocritically continue secretly doing evil.
To a sincere person, God will give enough arguments for the truth, but He will not reveal everything, to a person who changes his mind and does not want the truth, can twist the facts and use the unknown as an excuse to live as his desires dictate.
God preached about Christ's resurrection through His enemies and showed that His power has no limits.
Since Jerusalem was the capital, this news quickly spread throughout the country.

The Apostles Did Not Visit The Tomb of Christ
According to the established custom in the world, relatives and friends visit the place where the deceased are buried.
The graves of famous people have always been a place of visitation of their followers in history, especially for religious leaders such as Muhammad or Buddha.
However, at the time of the apostles, Christ's tomb never became a place of pilgrimage, because His followers claim Christ resurrected, and His body is no longer in the tomb.
The early Christians had no reason to come to Christ's tomb, except at the beginning when they wanted to make sure He was not there anymore.
When Jesus appeared to them on several occasions after the resurrection, there was no reason for them to go to the tomb when they knew that He was not there.
One of the essential things in Christianity is knowing where Jesus is and what He is doing for us today.
According to witnesses, within 40 days after the resurrection, Jesus appeared before His disciples on several occasions, and then ascended to heaven.
Today, He intercedes before the throne of God for sinners who repent of the sins they have committed.
At the end of this investigative judgment in Heaven, Jesus will come to the Earth again to carry out the judgment decision made in Heaven for every individual.
Therefore, instead of visiting the empty tomb which does not contain the body of Christ anymore, we need to look at what Jesus is doing for our salvation today in the Heavenly Sanctuary.

The Unbelief of the Apostles
The psychological breakdown experienced by Christ's followers at the time of Christ's crucifixion and death, struck them so hard
that they certainly did not have the strength to fabricate an alleged global fraud out of their disappointment.
They left their relatives, left their jobs, left their private interests, and followed Christ for three years.
They expected He would probably free the Jewish people from the Romans, and they could be ministers in the new government which they expected Christ would establish.
They primarily expected Him to be a political leader. However, instead of Jesus taking the crown,
He was crucified as the greatest criminal! The followers of Jesus Christ did not expect Him to be arrested, sentenced to death,
nor resurrect three days after, even though Jesus told them this prophecy several times, long before it was fulfilled.
They were utterly disappointed and confused.
Peter publicly denied three times that he knew Jesus Christ, to avoid being arrested.
The apostles hid in the upper room in Jerusalem because of fear they could be executed as Jesus was.
The apostles waited for the multitude to disperse from Jerusalem after the feast, so they can flee from there.
The state of disappointment in which the apostles were is a very strong argument they could not have the strength to carry out a conspiracy within a few days of their disappointment, and to successfully convince half of the world that Jesus resurrected from the grave.
Even when the women came from the tomb saying that the tomb was empty, and that an angel had told them that Jesus had risen, the apostles still did not believe:
"And their words seemed to them like idle tales, and they did not believe them" (Luke 24:11, KJV).
Not even the apostles were easily convinced of Christ’s resurrection. Peter and John were still skeptics,
so they ran to the tomb to personally check what had happened to the body of Christ.
“But Peter arose and ran to the tomb; and stooping down, he saw the linen cloths lying by themselves; and he departed, marveling to himself at what had happened” (Luke 24:12).
If the apostles fabricated the fact that Christ resurrected for their personal gain, they would not have described themselves in a bad light, as those who at first did not believe the news that Jesus resurrected.
The apostles did not try to modify or embellish the events, nor to describe themselves as heroes. They described events as they really happened.
They believed only when they saw the risen Christ with their own eyes, and when they touched His body, to be convinced it was a real person standing before them.
How is it possible that the apostles made a huge psychological turn just 24 hours after the resurrection?
They became fearlessly brave, and they went out to speak on the streets of Jerusalem,
so everyone could hear that they saw Christ risen from the grave. That was possible only if they really saw Him alive three days after His death.

The Firm Conviction of Christ's Followers in His Resurrection
How is it possible that the mentally broken, disappointed apostles
became a group of fearless preachers of Christ's resurrection?
If you read what all the witnesses of Christ's resurrection wrote, they had no doubt that it really happened.
They say they are absolutely sure of it. "That Jesus whom you crucified has risen from the grave! And not only that. He is the Messiah."
“For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried,
and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures,
and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve.
After that He was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain to the present, but some have fallen asleep.
After that He was seen by James, then by all the apostles.
Then last of all He was seen by me also, as by one born out of due time” (1 Corinthians 15:3-8).
The Apostle Paul said here that the risen Christ was seen at one time by more than 500 witnesses, and that some were alive at the time he wrote,
so the recipient of the letter could ask other witnesses if they had seen the risen Jesus as well as the apostles.
Witnesses of Christ's resurrection left a written testimony to describe what happened.
Four gospel writers described the same event from different angles.
They did not copy from each other but described independently what they witnessed. Their testimonies agree in details.
In court, credibility is checked by whether witnesses make contradictory statements or support each other.
The four Gospels and the Apostle Paul harmoniously describe the resurrection of Christ in 10 different places, describing how the risen Christ appeared to different people:
1. Appearance to Mary Magdalene (Mark 16:9; John 20:11-18)
2. To other women (Matthew 28:8-10)
3. Peter (Luke 24:34; 1 Corinthians 15:5)
4. Two disciples on the road to Emmaus (Mark 16:12; Luke 24:13-35)
5. Eleven disciples (Luke 24:33-49; John 20:19-24)
6. To the disciples seven days later (John 20:24-29; 1 Corinthians 15:5)
7. Seven disciples on the Sea of Tiberias (John 21:1-23)
8. More than 500 followers (1 Corinthians 15:6)
9. James (1 Corinthians 15:7)
10. Before the Ascension (Acts 1:3-12)
The apostles said they were living witnesses, and they had personally seen Christ when He resurrected. They had touched him, talked to Him, and they had received instructions from Him on what to do next.
John says, "That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life--
the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to us--
that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us;
and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. And these things we write to you that your joy may be full” (1 John 1:1-4).

The Apostles Had High Moral, Religious Principles
A lie is a violation of one of the 10 commandments. If someone lies, God will question his salvation.
The apostles preached high moral principles by which one should live.
It is unthinkable that if they selflessly served other people and advocated for God’s 10 commandments, they would have founded a religion based on lies.
Stealing the body of Christ would be against basic religious principles, and also lying if they did not see Jesus after the resurrection.
The apostles had no material benefit from preaching that Jesus was resurrected. They lived in poverty.
They had no property, no house, no family, they gave up all possessions to devote all the time of their lives to tell the whole world Jesus had risen.
Imagine someone trying to fabricate an event contrary to physical laws, and then convincing one-third of the planet's population that this was an actual event.
It is very unlikely to convince so many people to leave everything they do and everything they had, to go around the world and talk about it every day.
No reasonable person would invent something that does not have any material benefit,
and instead spend everything he has to tell people that it is indeed so. No one would do that for a lie.
Even when something is true, it is difficult to get others to pass it on. It must be a vital truth,
and that person must love his neighbors as himself in order to sacrifice all his time to tell people about it.
People of bad character would not be able to persuade people for a long time, if what they were saying was not true.
The apostles lived the way they preached, and for this reason, people trusted them.
Even before the emperor himself the apostle Paul spoke freely about the resurrection of Christ:
“I am not mad, most noble Festus, but speak the words of truth and reason.
For the king, before whom I also speak freely, knows these things; for I am convinced that none of these things escapes his attention, since this thing was not done in a corner” (Acts 26:25, 26).

WHO WOULD DIE FOR A LIE?
The martyrdom of Christians because they believed in the resurrection of Jesus Christ
Christians in the first century were condemned to death, but even then, they did not renounce God, but the resurrection of Christ gave them the strength to remain on God's side until the end.
At that time, it was very dangerous to believe that Jesus was the Messiah, and before the resurrection, the apostles hid from the authorities so they would not be arrested like Jesus, and sentenced to death.
All the apostles were sooner or later sentenced to death for their beliefs, but they have not renounced Christ!
If Christ's disciples had stolen Christ's body or performed some trick, would they continue to lie and would they allow to be killed?
It would be difficult to imagine even one of them, if they believed it is a lie that Christ is alive, to be able to die defending the lie.
However, all 12 apostles were ready to give their lives for Christ. Death was no longer a problem for them.
If what they believed was based on a lie that Jesus had not actually been resurrected, surely at least one of them would have admitted an alleged lie under the pressure of the death threat.
However, all the apostles chose to be killed rather than deny they were witnesses Jesus had risen. No one would die for a lie, let alone a group of people without material interests.
They knew religious authorities arrested and sentenced to death those who believed in the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
They continued to publicly preach they had seen the risen Messiah.
Religious fanatics swore they would not eat or drink until they killed the apostle Paul, but even then he did not stop to preach in public he had seen the risen Christ.
Who would die for a lie? If Jesus had not been resurrected, at least one of the 500 witnesses would have changed their statement, but instead, even when they were facing death, they claimed to have seen the risen Christ.
If Christ had not risen from the dead, the New Testament would never have been written.
Who would put so much effort into writing an allegedly “false” biography of someone who claimed to be the Messiah,
that He was sent by God, if His career ended in a shameful death instead of resurrection in glory?
The apostles did not die for empty ideals, but with the faith that Jesus had risen and promised eternal life to those who stood firm on God's side.

The Life of the Apostle Paul is a Confirmation of Christ's Resurrection
At the beginning, the apostle Paul was the enemy and persecutor of Christians.
He was present when Stephen was arrested and stoned to death. He was very educated and skeptical by nature.
It was not easy to convince him, because he even persecuted those who believed Jesus was resurrected.
Not even the testimony of the apostles convinced him of Jesus' resurrection, until he personally saw the risen Christ.
Only if he saw the risen Jesus, the Pharisee Saul would believe. On the way to Damascus, where he went to arrest a group of Christ's followers, risen Messiah appeared before Paul and a group of soldiers and said:
"I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting" (Acts 9:5). Only Paul in this group was blinded by the light when Jesus appeared.
After three days, God sent Saul to loyal Ananias.
“And Ananias went his way and entered the house; and laying his hands on him he said,
‘Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you came, has sent me that you may receive your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit’” (Acts 9:17).
When Ananias laid his hands on him, Paul was able to see and became an unshakeable witness for Jesus Christ.
The God who helps his enemy had won his heart.
Because Paul saw resurrected Jesus, he chose the death penalty rather than to renounce Christ.
As fervently as he had persecuted Christians, so fervently he later preached about the risen Christ.

Testimony of Women - Unacceptable?
In the first century Jewish culture, the testimony of women in court had no credibility. The criminal would not be convicted if only a woman testified against him.
If anyone wanted to lie about Jesus’ resurrection, he would try to provide believable evidence, and certainly he would not claim that the first witnesses of the risen Christ were women.
It would be pointless to fabricate a story with women as the main witnesses, in a culture where their testimony was not acceptable.
However, because God does not tolerate chauvinism, He gave them proof, which was also supposed to cure their wrong attitude towards women.
The gospel writers did not mount their reports to be culturally acceptable, but they wrote what really happened.
The apostles were hidden in the upper room, while the women went first to see that the tomb was empty, and then returned and told apostles what they saw.
If the apostles wanted to fabricate a convincing story for their countrymen, they would say the first witnesses were men.
This way, they showed their testimony was authentic. If someone treats other human beings as less valuable or believable, God will not give him other evidence for Jesus’ resurrection.

A Fairy Tale or a Historical Fact?
The Gospels describe the resurrection of Christ in a way that historical facts are described.
When we read about historical figures whose traits are exaggerated in a fairy-tale manner, it is immediately clear the writers did not intend to describe real events.
We can distinguish mythological descriptions from historical events. Writers do not attempt to convince adult readers this was the truth, but they write mostly to entertain children.
For example, Tutankhamun was a historical figure, but many dramatic stories have been invented about him that we can easily recognize as fiction, and no one believes in them.
Even those who have an interest in making up the stories about Tutankhamun, do not claim those stories as historical facts.
On the other side, those who described Christ's resurrection never indicated any intention to write a mythological, fictional story.
The Gospels tell the exact date, time, and place when events happened, the witnesses who were present and the given circumstances.
The writers describe the events they saw with their own eyes and claim the resurrection really happened.
How do we know Julius Caesar existed? Some of his contemporaries witnessed the events from Caesar's life. They wrote the events down and passed them on to us.
In the same way, contemporaries of Jesus Christ described that they witnessed His resurrection, and wrote as reporters, without unreal, mythological elements.
Many classical works have been confirmed based on a small number of manuscripts. The New Testament is supported by more than 5,300 manuscripts, which is much more than any other historical event or person.
So, if we believe that there were historical events based on a dozen manuscripts, we should know that there are thousands of manuscripts where the resurrection of Christ was described.

Non-Christian Historians Testify in Favor of the Resurrection
Josephus Flavius, a first-century Jewish historian, wrote the following about Jesus Christ and a growing number of his followers:
“And when Pilate sentenced him to death at the suggestion of our elders, those who loved him from the beginning did not forsake him; for he reappeared among them alive on the third day; as the prophets of God foretold this and ten thousand other miraculous things related to Him. And the tribe of Christians, named after Him, have not been eradicated to this day."--The Life and Works of Flavius Josephus (The Winston Co., Philadelphia, 1957), p. 535.
Josephus was a secular historian whose writings were accepted by both Jews and Romans at the time of writing. He was an honorary citizen of Rome.
No critic of Christianity has so far criticized the authenticity of Joseph's writings, so we can conclude that there is a secular historical source that confirms the statements of the gospel.

How to Explain the Incredibly Rapid Development of Christianity
How did Christianity grow from a handful of disappointed people after the crucifixion of Christ, to nearly 2 billion people today who claim to be Christians?
The testimony of the direct witnesses of Christ's resurrection was the driving force that increased the number of people who accepted Jesus as Savior from sin. There is no other reasonable explanation for the boom of Christianity.
The fact that none of the witnesses of Christ's resurrection hesitated or spoke differently from the others, shows the credibility of the resurrection of Jesus.
The apostles claim that the resurrection of Christ motivated them to leave their occupations, houses, and acquaintances, and went all over the world to tell people they witnessed Christ's resurrection.
The Apostle Paul, as a rational man, did not want to believe in a fairy tale, as a child deceived by the existence of Santa Claus. He says:
“And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty.”
“Yes, and we are found false witnesses of God, because we have testified of God that He raised up Christ, whom He did not raise up—if in fact the dead do not rise. For if the dead do not rise, then Christ is not risen.”
“And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins! Then also those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished.”
“If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable. But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.” (1 Corinthians 15:14-20).
How important is the resurrection of Jesus Christ? Paul says to believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ is the condition for salvation:
"If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).
The most important message for humanity came from an empty grave.
Therefore, without the resurrection of Christ, there is no forgiveness of sins, no resurrection of ours, and no eternal life.
Jesus is alive, and there are many witnesses to that, and you heard many rational arguments in favor of the resurrection.

What Now?
In the end, it is logical to ask another question: What do you think about the resurrection of Christ? How we should plan our lives further depends on our attitude toward Christ's resurrection.
It is not enough just to see the evidence and continue to live the same way as before.
To have eternal life, we need to have a connection with the source of life—with God.
Praying to God is a way we can connect with Him.
Dust returns to dust, ashes to ashes, earth to earth, but in the sure and reliable hope of the resurrection.
Somewhere around us there is a cure for everything, but only God has a cure for death.
We live and die, but Jesus died and lives.
As everyone dies because of Adam, so everyone will live because of Christ.
God is life. He is the source of life. Through Him, all that is alive is created. Jesus said:
“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6).
“I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live” (John 11:25).
